39. The Three Cornerstones

“Balance, emotion and control” are referred to as the ‘three cornerstones of the World of Yi’.

The beginners tend to understand balance literally as ‘average, equilibrium, checks and balances, etc.’ These are misunderstanding of balance by Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) of the Physical Body. Balance is mentioned in the earlier parts of this book in the chapters of “In life, balance means to be moderate” and “Balance, good and evil”. However, to understand “balance” in Yi, the two chapters are not enough. It can be said that the whole book of “Frequency of Civilization” is about balance.

Balance is dynamic; it is the objective law of energy flow and also the fundamental law of the energy in the three worlds.

In different worlds of Xiang (Manifestation), balance manifests differently in the energy fields. The Yiology learners should look beyond the surface to understand the essence of “balance”, understand the rules and learn to coexist-this is also a prerequisite to “master the energy field”.

Understanding balance requires field-based thinking, and balance itself is a manifestation of field-based thinking. Understanding balance will accelerate the growth of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), and the growth of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) will deepen the understanding of balance.

Being able to comprehend and practice “balance” is a basic requirement for the Yiology learners.

In the previous chapter of “Emotion”, it was mentioned that beware of emotional manipulation, which some people utilize as a tool; beware of excessive emotions, which come from inadequate cultivation of Shi (Cognition).Usually, emotional manipulation stems from greed, while excessive emotions stem from obsession with Xiang (Manifestation). Emotional manipulation disrespects others, while excessive emotion disrespects oneself. Only by improving Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), can people understand how to treat emotions properly.

When discussing emotions, beginners often think of 'familial love, romantic love, friendship...', but these are not the 'emotions' referred to in Yi philosophy. The emotions perceived by Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) of human body are just the manifestations of 'emotions'.

Yi values “emotion”, but what is ‘emotion’ exactly?

‘Emotion’ is the essential characteristic of life!

The growth process of LING (BEING) is also a process of emotions evolving from nonexistence to existence.

The elevation of the level of LING (BEING)’s Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) is also a process of emotions evolving from a lower level to a higher level.

All the Supreme LING (BEING) have emotions and the higher their level, the richer their emotions.

Emotion is the essential characteristic to tell whether it can be called ‘life’. Without emotions, it is not life, but only ‘a state of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition)’.

Due to the misinterpretation by religions and spiritualism, some people think that they must give up “the seven emotions and six sensory pleasures” in practice. However, they do not know that this does not help them become ‘higher beings’, but make them ‘dead people’, misleading themselves and others.

I have said before, “Emotions are variables of balance.” Do not interpret this sentence literally. Otherwise, you will fall into self-righteousness.

Among the three cornerstones, ‘balance, emotion and control’, first understand ‘balance and emotion’, then understand ‘control’, only then will you know how to grasp the ‘variables of balance’.

“To control in Yi philosophy does not mean “to manipulate, to monitor, to restrict etc.”. It means “balancing oneself to achieve a state of balanced self”.

During growth, do not lose wisdom or be obsessed with Xiang (Manifestation). Practice ‘balancing oneself to achieve a state of balanced self’ using field-based thinking: to balance your own desires, to retrospect on personal greed, respect and follow the rules of the energy fields. You should also avoid becoming inflated and biased.

With the improvement of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), you will be able to see clearly the limitation of your own Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), and you can inspect and reflect upon yourself. You can see the limitation of other’s Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), and then make your choice. The clarity of the energy field boundaries and the choices based on your own judgement will bring you a sense of control and accomplishment in life.

Managers shall first complete ‘self-management’. Only by understanding “control”, can you truly understand Yi philosophy. This also shows your level of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) and development of state of mind.

Yi philosophy determines the value orientation of the Yiology learners so that we are no longer lost.

Yi philosophy is the basis for common frequency and emotional bond of interpersonal relationships in the World of Yi, and we respect and love each other because of this.

There is also balance among “balance, emotion and control”. It is a “rebalance” of the three cornerstones. All the Yiology learners should understand this point in depth.
