Looking for the High-frequency Mankind

51. Communication

The term 'communication' is explained as the process of transferring and receiving thoughts and emotions between people, aiming to achieve unity of thought and smoothness of emotions. For Yiology learners, 'communication' is a method to eliminate misunderstandings and a way of developing Shi.

The World of Yi emphasizes the importance and necessity of communication and advocates the communication principle of 'sincerity and openness.'

In a regular Shi Developing meeting of a Yi Academy, I observed the way of communication of two Yiology Mentors: they were both able to treat each other with sincerity. They openly expressed their views and pointed out each other’s shortcomings directly.

However, they both elaborated their own reasons, yet overlooked self-examination of their self-righteousness; they both tried to persuade the other, but overlooked the 'field-based thinking' of 'splicing and replacing' each other's views. In the end, misunderstandings persisted, and emotions were stirred up without any problems being solved.

This is not effective communication, and it's not even communication.

The Yiology learners have the same frequency basis of 'Yi philosophy', and yet communication is still like this. In life, there is an abundance of terrible communication. People seem to be communicating, but most are arguing and quarreling, intensifying emotions, and communication becomes futile.

So, what does “communication” mean in Yiology?

1. Communication is not about ‘how to make others understand me’, but about ‘how to understand others.’

2. Communication is not stating ‘where I am right’, but understanding ‘the difference between both parties’ and comprehending ‘the other’s reasoning.’

Interactions based on these two points are real communication. It requires mutual respect. Unity of thought is not necessary. Communication with the aim of 'unity of thought' is disrespectful to individuals.

Communication requires a foundation of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition).

Improving Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) is necessary to possess the expression and understanding abilities required for communication.

Improving Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) allows one to examine blind adherence and biases, and to avoid being deceived and misguided in communication.

Improving Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) makes it possible to discern the other's worldview and values, and understand how to choose the communication objects.

Communication also requires a foundation of frequency.

The similarity of frequency also means the similarity of worldview and values, with which the communication can be more effective and can help further improve the frequency convergence.

Different frequencies require not 'communication,' but delineation of field boundaries. Communication is not about persuading others. Communication aiming at “persuading others” is not communication, but deception.

There are frequency differences between people, which leaves room for growth in time and space.

When frequencies approach each other, attempts at communication can be made. Otherwise, forced communication on different channels is like chickens talking to ducks.

is like chickens talking to ducks.

Communication also needs to be established on the foundation of 'honesty and integrity' (refer to the previous chapter of 'Honesty and Integrity') and on the principles of 'respect, tolerance, and humbleness.' Setting obstacles for communication intentionally or unintentionally, no matter the purpose, is unwise.

Understanding Yi philosophy can reduce many 'human conspiracies.'

Learning to communicate is the threshold for human society to step into a high-frequency civilization.

Yi is not to make you believe, but to teach you how to question!
