9. The Riverbed of Destiny

After my sensing ability strengthened, those unusual dreams became much less frequent. However, in a unusual dream in 2003, I saw a riverbed, the riverbed of destiny. It brought me deep surprise and shock, and also gave me a different understanding of destiny.

Destiny is an enduring topic for people.

Some people believe in destiny and are keen on fortune-telling. Whether in good times or bad, they think that unchangeable life experiences are destined, and everything is arranged by destiny. To put it kindly, this cannot be called ignorance, but rather a kind of helplessness. People's enthusiasm for fortune-telling and changing their destiny is actually a desire to break free from the helplessness in their lives.

There are also people who do not believe in destiny and are repulsed by the idea of predestination. Their destiny may say they will have a successful career, but if they just wait passively for decades, they may still achieve nothing. Their destiny may say they will live to be 70 years old, but if they don't believe it and jump off a building tomorrow, they won't make it to 70. So, some people believe that 'destiny is in my hands, not determined by the heavens'.

In fact, destiny is like death and from the moment your Body is born, it is waiting for you there, whether you believe it or not.

In that unusual dream, I found myself floating in the air again, but this time the scene was different from any before. Looking down from the air, there were many bright, winding lines. These lines had beginnings and ends, like winding riverbeds. When I paid attention to appreciate these lines, I realized that they were not just luminous lines, and I was struck with surprise and shock, as if I was about to freeze. These lines, like riverbeds, are the space-time epitome of a person's life, with the beginning being birth and the end death. These lines are the riverbeds of destiny.

What is destiny? Destiny is the 'maximum comprehensive benefit of life' for each of us in this world. As the 'maximum value' varies from person to person, so does destiny. The world is a vast and subtle energy balance system, and those who understand and follow this balance will approach the maximum value. Any impulse may cause deviation from this maximum value. A person's life is like a bucket of water flowing from the starting point to the end point in this riverbed. Both overflowing and diversion are misfortunes of destiny. In the worst case, the water may not even reach the end.

Take the previous example, jumping off a building indeed negates the predetermined destiny, but for a normal person, does this serve your interests? Again, as in the previous example: people being content with destiny just wait for decades. This kind of waiting is a deliberate change in behavior pattern, going against balance and thus deviating from one's own 'maximum comprehensive benefit of life'. They will for sure wait in vain for many years and achieve nothing.

At the age of 20, you might feel as if you can battle the heavens and the earth, and regard everything else as insignificant. But what about when you look back on that decade when you're 30? Or when you're 40, reflecting on the past twenty years? You might lament, 'I was young and naive back then.' In a person's life, even if you roam freely around the world, even if you can fly to the United States today and France the next week, you will eventually find that many life paths are already delineated. When you can see the entirety of this 'riverbed of destiny,' from the starting point to the end, or vice versa, you will comprehend what the phrase 'destined by fate' truly means. Your life trajectory cannot leap out of your own riverbed.

Yiology is a means of practice of the information of Yi on the Earth.

Yi is not to make you believe, but to teach you how to question!

Understanding your destiny does not mean being powerless in the face of it. People often say 'do your best and accept your destiny,' but I would argue 'understand your destiny, then do your best.' The encounters in a person's life are also the result of interactive balance of the energy fields. A dominant energy field can gain the upper hand in these interactions, which is one of the factors affecting destiny. Everyone has their own energy field. Awakening your Yi Body will gradually empower your energy field. 'Yi' is a positive adjustment to destiny. In other words, after understanding your destiny, those who can still do their best are the true wise ones in life.

Adjusting one’s destiny is not about making drastic changes or acting recklessly. It is about learning to respect balance, seizing key moments, and aligning with the "maximum comprehensive benefit of life."  By comprehending the subtle balance within destiny, you can say: life has a 'destiny,' but it's up to 'me.'
