Every day, there are births and deaths in this world. What truly touches us are those that happen around us.
People hustle and bustle every day, making various plans for life. But have you ever stopped to ponder about death? Even such a thought would be mocked as a sign of mental illness because death is a taboo topic and people believe that 'death means the end of everything'. So, there is nothing to think about. However, death is not that simple.
For animals and plants, we define them as 'alive,' or 'living,' when they exhibit signs of life. However, the definition of death, especially human death, has gradually evolved in our understanding. We once defined death as the cessation of breathing and the stopping of the heart. With the advancement of medical knowledge about life, we now define brain death as death. So, what exactly is death?
Life and death are states of energy existence. The transition between life and death is a node of energy transformation. From the perspective of life phenomena on Earth, life is a coincidence of death, and death is an inevitability of life. In terms of energy phenomena, there's no distinction between life and death, only the unceasing flow of energy.
People's fear of death is fundamentally the fear of: 'I, will no longer exist, I will be gone.'
In a higher sense of life, whether 'I' exist or not is the ultimate standard for measuring life and death. The ultimate death is the extinction of self-consciousness of the Yi Body.
If the Yi Body is digested, and even though the body remains in the world, the person is actually dead, with their body driven by other energies. On the other hand, for people with awakened Yi Bodies, after their physical bodies pass away, the consciousness of 'I' will continue to exist. To facilitate understanding and avoid ambiguity, this chapter of 'Beyond Death' divide the situation into three categories for three types of people: those with dormant Yi Bodies, religious believers, and those with awakened Yi Bodies.
A. All living beings with dormant Yi Bodies
We can say that at the beginning of our lives, we all have dormant Yi Bodies. During the course of life, some people embrace religion, while some have their Yi Bodies awakened, thus creating the other two types of people: 'religious believers' and 'those with awakened Yi Bodies'. 'Those with dormant Yi Bodies' discussed here refers to people without religious beliefs and who have not learnt about Yi.
All living beings in this category are limited by their Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition). When their Physical Bodies die, they will enter the "folklore energy field", such as that of the Lord of the Underworld, Yama, that Chinese people believe meeting after death. Their Yi Bodies are like fallen leaves blown by the wind. Whether through reincarnation or energy transformation, they will experience true death, and 'I' will truly not exist anymore.
B. Religion Believers
Religion forms the worldview of its believers, and we respect different worldviews.
While they are alive, the Yi Bodies of religious believers are assimilated and even digested by the religious energy field and their Yi Bodies can be termed as 'death Yi Bodies’ ("I" is dead, but the energy remains)'. Although their physical bodies are alive, they execute the will of the religion. When their physical bodies die, their Yi Bodies assimilate into the religious energy field, and 'I' vanishes, which is essentially death.
As for some miraculous experiences of religious believers, they only exist in the 'World of Xiang (Manifestation)' of that religious energy field and do not represent universal truth. For instance, religious believers claim to see God, while materialists say they cannot see God. They are both right due to the different energy fields they reside in and their differing Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition). However, once they step outside their respective energy fields, their claims lose all meaning.
C. Those with Awakened Yi Bodies
For those with awakened Yi Bodies, what lies beyond death is not the end of everything. The life of the body is a process of individual enlightenment, just a segment in the cycle of reincarnation. It cannot bind us, nor can it end our pursuit. In one's life, people plan for their living in the first 30 years and come to terms with death in the next 30 years. When we are young, we strive for the life of the body; when we calm down and awaken the Yi Body, we strive for the eternal life of the Yi Body. This effort holds more practical value for each of us.
We need to understand death because of life, and knowing death makes us cherish life. Understanding life and death is a way to treat life kindly.
Yi refers to the information from high frequency civilization that this book transmits.
Yiology is a means of practice of the information of Yi on the Earth.
Yi is not to make you believe, but to teach you how to question!
