47.  About “Gods”

In the past, it was said that gods were in the sky and that was the kingdom of gods.

Now, spaceships have gone into the space and all we see is the dark universe.

Where are gods after all? Are they in a certain space and time or deep in the universe?

 

God is a vague concept. Different ethnic groups and different religions have different understandings of “god”.

When talking about gods, people are easily obsessed by Xiang (Manifestation) due to reflexive thinking. What emerges in their minds are ‘gods' in their own understanding.

For example, when talking about ‘a lion’, whether it is an African lion or an Asian lion, at least a lion appears in the mind. But when it comes to ‘God’, it is hard to say what people visualize. For some natives on Pacific islands, what comes to their mind is an airplane.

 

The vague concept is due to the 'unclear nature', and it has even developed a discipline: theology.

Since ancient times, humans have been arguing endlessly about God, even resorting to violence and wars, countless in number. It might be easier if this is just a vague concept. The embarrassing thing is: whether gods exist or not is still a question! So, humans can generally be divided into two categories: atheists and theists.

 

Atheism is a kind of simple worldview. In the West, faith is always equated with religion, and atheism usually refers to agnosticism, which means 'having no religious belief'. In regions where materialism prevails, atheism mostly believes that there is 'absolutely no supernatural existence'. Atheists all have their own reasons for 'not believing in God' and are good at proving 'the correctness of their own views'. However, some people are just despairing about 'the existence of God'.

 

Theism believes that “gods exist”, that they create all things and human beings, and that they can exert direct or indirect influences on the material world. There are different understandings of gods in the West and in the East. “Monotheism and Polytheism” pass down different genesis stories. However, theists often face a dilemma: if gods are almighty and good, why don’t they eliminate the evil and sufferings in the world? (Yet the Yiology learners have clear understanding of this question.)

 

Why are people so troubled about whether gods exist or not?

Because the universe is so too big, the unknown is too much and life is too short!

 

Are there gods anyway? In terms of the concept of “creating all things and human beings”, “gods” do exist. However, this has nothing to do with “theism” of mankind.

 

During World War II, when the U.S. military established bases on Pacific islands, the natives saw the warships and airplanes transporting goods, and found it amazing. The U.S. military also provided some goods to the natives, which were like miracles to them. After the end of World War II, the U.S. military left, and the natives believed that 'God will come back' and bring more goods. Therefore, these natives developed a set of religious ceremonies, using airplanes as totems. This phenomenon is called 'cargo cult'.

 

It is difficult for low frequency to interpret high frequency, while high frequency can examine low frequency. In terms of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), you are in higher frequency than the natives, understand the ins and outs of ‘cargo cult’, and know that the natives regard airplanes as gods. If a certain kind of existence is in higher frequency of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) than humans and knows the ins and outs of ‘atheism’, what have humans made into gods?

 

Human cognition of God mostly comes from religion, and religious descriptions of God mainly come from three sources: 1. The worldview of extraterrestrial beings in the fourth Degree of Progression, extended and disseminated on Earth; 2. The lives in the fifth Degree of Progression, who contact with humans on the earth out of self-righteous goodwill; 3. Information from the stranded Yans from the previous four rounds of civilization on the earth, relayed through human mediums.

 

For instance, the Kandiya aliens from the fourth Degree of Progression migrated to Earth and spread their worldview, leading to the creation of Western religions. Consequently, Westerners' understanding of God originated from this.

 

In addition to Kandiya aliens who migrated to the earth, some lives from the fifth Degree of Progression also contacted with humans at that time. They intended to provide help but made the mistake of assuming they were doing good. Without enlightening human Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), their well-intended help yielded no good outcomes, being twisted by human greed and prejudice. As these misinterpretations accumulated, they developed into other religions on Earth. The process of creating gods is just like the natives on the Pacific islands. In addition, the interaction between the mediums and the stranded Yans is the origin of some smaller religions all over the world. Because of limitation of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), mediums are unable to discern the truth and fall into superstition and blind obedience, resulting in an abundance of low-frequency information, akin to a 'disaster of mediumship'. This is the ins and outs of 'theism'. An erroneous 'theism' is worse than atheism, as it misleads human faith and values!

 

So, where are gods after all?

Gods are outside the ‘Twelve Degree of Progression’! They are the Supreme LING (BEING) who undertake the management responsibilities in the World of LING (BEING).

 

Regarding 'God', don't interpret the term literally. It is simply a term used to align with human understanding. To avoid reflexive thinking, the term 'God' can also be replaced with its pinyin equivalent (SHEN).

 

What SHEN wants to tell you is:

They do not like to be worshiped and hope you discover yourself.

They do not want to see superstition, but hope you learn to grow.

They act according to rules and will not accommodate greed and delusion because of prayers.

Otherwise, they would not be SHEN, but a farce of humans and self-righteousness in the Twelve Degrees of Progression.

 

The twelve degrees of progression can be understood as twelve levels of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition). The higher the level of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), the closer it is to the truth. Humans are lives in the fourth Degree of Progression, with relatively low level of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition). Therefore, people’s philosophical contemplation is like observing the sky from the bottom of a well, and scientific exploration is like a fish roaming in a fish tank.

 

The microcosm of quantum theory only sees ‘the intrinsic nature of Xiang (Manifestation) of the material world’; The macrocosm of the theory of relativity sees only ‘the microcosm of the Twelve Degrees of Progression’. Therefore, humans find it difficult to understand the origin and truth of the universe. Even “theism” is confined to the fourth Degree of Progression.

 

Understanding the truth is not a subversion, but allows those who understand growth to progress to the higher Degree of Progression. The fourth Degree of Progression will continue to exist because there are always be beings who are at this level of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), just like there will always be a fourth grade in primary school. The difference is who remains in the fourth grade.

 

Currently, 'low-frequency forces' have enveloped the Earth. They have no values or beliefs and are mired in conspiracy and greed, like maggots self-indulging in a garbage can. On a sinking ship, they embrace gold and jockey for powers. Such ugly dramas have been staged in Earth’s previous four rounds of civilization, ultimately leading to self-destruction and they are still on stage now.

 

With the alternations of the Earth’s civilization and the reincarnation of individual life, under the 'passive growth' model, With the limitation of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition), it is difficult for humans to learn from past experiences.

 

The high-frequency transmission of Yi brings about ‘active growth’. It is not creating gods and there is no need to create new superstitions.

 

Yi does not want you to simply believe, but to learn to question. Learning Yiology does not provide you with answers, but takes you ‘from discovering yourself to self-discovery’. Discovering oneself enables independent thinking and the understanding of high-frequency concepts. SHEN(Gods) help those who help themselves!
