28. About “Being Self “

Many people pursue a state of mind called “non-ego”; However, what Yi pursues is “being self”. This is the upgrading of life.

 

It is suggested that everyone should think: “non-ego” seems to be noble, but what stops you from having yourself?

Nobody is born for sacrifice. In the pursuit of self and freedom, two things should not be obliterated, they are, personality and emotions.

Improving Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) is a respect for life and for free will. Otherwise, no matter how noble the statements seem to be, they just aim to blind or fool.

 

You cannot decide where you come from, like a child cannot decide his or her parents. However, you can decide where you are going and walk your own path. Learning Yiology gives yourself an independent cognition and self-awareness. Only in this way, are life and living truly yours.

 

A. Balance Versus Euality

 

People of the East say, “All beings are equal” and people of the West say, “All people have rights and all are created equal”. Equality is one of the ultimate ideals of mankind, but often reduced to a tool of deceiving people. Slogans wrapped with equality elements, such as “Equal distribution of land; Qquality and fraternity”, always bewitch a lot of people. Why does equality easily bewitch people? The answer is a bit cruel: All living beings are confined by their Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition). The word “equality” requires no thinking. For instance, if you talk about equality with a beggar, “It is just like you are as rich as the wealthy, or the wealthy are like you”. He does not need to use his brain, either situation would make him happy or relieve his resentment. However, if you talk to him about balance, he might reward you with a beating because this topic is beyond his ability of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition).

 

Equality basing on one-size-fits-all approach ignores the balance factor and is in fact a kind of imbalance. In an imbalanced energy field, everyone is full of anxiety and hostility. “Kill the rich and help the poor so that everyone is equal” cannot solve the problem. This will only lead to vicious cycles. “Equality” is like a carrot in front of a donkey. “Fairness and justice, harmony and order, and mutual respect…” are not the product of equality. They are generated from balance. The world operating in a mechanism of balance has no threat or aggression. People have different visions for life and they do not appear to be equal in their clothing, food, housing and transportation. However, people can find their place within their own energy field, experiencing a sense of accomplishment in life.

 

It is balance, not equality that counts. Everyone should understand this. Balance is he protection and respect for diversity.

 

B. Individuality Versus Unity

 

Among some spiritual practitioners, you often hear a phrase, 'all things are one, we are one', and they advocate letting go of discriminative mind and loving each other.

 

The statement seems to be very noble, but is it not practical? I once made an analogy: people living on the third floor live the way of the third floor; those living on the sixth floor live the way of the sixth floor; those living on the top floor live the way of the top floor. People should not regard the life of the top floor as that of all floor just because they are in the same building. What’s more, they might not be in the same building.

 

In the chapter of “The Misunderstood World”, I mentioned: we do not live in the same world, but the world is a collection of our fields. The energy fields which maintain balance between individuals, between the individual and his/her energy field, and between different energy fields for the “system of all things”. You can consider this system as a whole, but definitely not ‘unity’. Do not let ‘unity’ confuse your cognition thinking. Otherwise, “all things are one” will become the tool to trample on individualism and an accomplice to obliterate the self.

 

From birth to the road of growth, everyone is unique; no one can represent you. Learn to love yourself. Every person who has understood “balance” shall not be extinguished. “We are not a unity, but individual entities”. Yi brings the true awakening of self-consciousness.

 

Yi can save everyone but does not demand to save everyone. Everyone has his/her own origin. 

Yi refers to the information from high frequency civilization that this book transmits.
