29. The Bewilderment About Ego 

A word may carry different meanings in different contexts. People who are interested in spirituality should be familiar with the term “ego”, which usually refers to personality and mentality.

 

In Yiology, there is no such thing as ego or the greater self. However, for ease of communication, I occasionally use the term “ego”. For the Yiology learners, you can understand ‘ego’ as Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) of the Physical Body.

 

Many people view the 'ego' as the great enemy of spiritual practice and a stumbling block to ascension, as if they hold a grudge against the 'ego', wishing to eliminate it as soon as possible. They think that once ‘ego’ is removed, they will attain divinity. They seem to overlook one thing: without ego, you will not become greater. On the contrary, by eliminating ‘ego’, you cease to exist.

 

What is ego? Ego is very precious; it forms part of the “Plan of the Original LING (BEING)”, the evaluation score of reincarnation and the wealth of Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) for a life. Every ego of the Wave of Samsara is a mandatory course for LING (BEING). By eliminating ‘ego’, you are wasting the lessons for Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) development and unable to graduate.  Therefore, blind spiritual practice seems diligent and devout, but is actually constrained by Jue (Perception) Shi (Cognition) and is truly regrettable.

 

Does the 'ego' really have any unbearable aspects? In fact, some people just don't understand that spiritual practice is not about abandonment, but balance.

 

There is only one life for each Physical Body. There is a fashionable phrase in spiritual circle, “love yourself”. If you know how to love yourself, you will not be at odds with your ego. The ego is the real self. Learn to care for it. If you truly understand how to love yourself, please awaken it in this Wave of Samsara.

 

Ego is an indispensable part of ‘I’. As for ‘I’, it has been discussed several times in previous chapters. Read this book repeatedly and it should not be difficult to understand. So I will not go into details here.

 

Only when the 'ego' is awakened, can true awakening occur.

Yi refers to the information from high frequency civilization that this book transmits.

Yiology is a means of practice of the information of Yi on the Earth.

Yi is not to make you believe, but to teach you how to question!
